DANCE CLASS

How to get the MOST out of Class  

• Come to class regularly . Repetition is the key to learning to dance.
• And be on time. The first part of class is just as important as the last.
• Wear comfortable clothing.
• Please! No SHOES or GUM on dance floor.
• Ask questions!
• Drink water. There is purified water available at the sink at the back of the studio. Bring a closed container if you wish
• Be patient with your own learning style and body type!
• Relax and havefun!

CLASS/STUDIO POLICIES

MISSED CLASSES : The studio has a very generous make-up policy compared with other places you make take enrichment classes (KCC, UI or other dance studios). If you miss a class, you will be allowed to make-up that class during the session in which it was missed. Make-up classes will NOT be extended beyond the class term. If you think you are a special exception (i.e. family death or illness) you MUST let the studio know immediately to be approved for a more lenient make-up arrangement.

WEATHER CANCELATIONS: Class will be definitely cancelled if Kirkwood is closed, or if City Buses are not running. We will also send out an email by 4:30pm in those instances of “close call”. Missed class will be made up by students attend another scheduled class (at their own convenience) during the session. Please use good driving judgment! Keep yourself safe!

TEACHER CANCELATIONS: If the instructor is ill, all effort will be made to engage an appropriate substitute. If class must be cancelled, a make-up class will be offered. This will be accomplished by either allowing students to take a class at their own convenience during the session, or an extra class will be scheduled (at the studio’s availability).

REFUNDS : There are NO REFUNDS after the first week of class. Refunds will have single class fee (Walk-in rate) and a $10 administrative fee deducted.
