Kahraman engages in various educational institutions and community outreach programs, as well as privately sponsored cultural events and celebrations.

Whether your performance need is strictly educational or strictly entertainment – or somewhere in-between, Kahraman can tailor its repertory to meet your needs. Regional dances from Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Turkey, and Persia may be hand selected to suit the needs of your special event or program. Of course, included in our repertory is the classic women’s art dance, Danse Orientale (aka Belly Dance) which can reflect the styles and music of these regions and has delighted audiences for centuries.

Performances can be tailored to any budget and setting: educational institutions, theaters, convention halls, cabarets or outdoor festivals. Soloists to the full company of six dancers are available through out the year. Musicians are available upon request for an additional fee. The company has been featured on the Iowa Arts Council and the Arts Midwest Artist Rosters. In addition to performing to sell-out crowds in Iowa, Kahraman has a solid professional reputation in the Midwest and around the country, and has performed extensively throughout five surrounding states, and in Seattle and New York City.
